Geocache Description:

1942'de Kadıköy'de doğmuştur. Robert Koleji İnşaat Mühendisliği'ni bitirdikten sonra çevre konusuna önem vermiş, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesinde Çevre Mühendisliği doktorası yapmıştır. Boğaziçi Üniversitesi öğretim üyesi olan Kriton Curi, 1988 yılında çevre teknolojisi konusunda profesör olmuştur.

Kriton Curi was born in Istanbul in 1942, and was a Professor and faculty member of the civil engineering department at Boğaziçi University; which is a public university in Istanbul founded in 1863 and consistently ranked highest in Turkey. His service in developing environmental consciousness in Turkey has been recognized.
