The Old Coach Road Trail

One of a series of caches placed along The Ulster Way / Old Coach Road. The Old Coach Road used to allow their Lordships to go by carriage from the grand setting of the Clandeboye Estate to the train station at Helen's Bay without having to come into too much contact with mere peasants.
Nowdays, the area forms part of the Ulster Way and these caches are placed along a section of the Ulster Way which runs from Estate Road to the Ballybarnes or Ballysallagh Road and the Old Coach Road Trail which runs from the Belfast Road to the Ballysallagh Road where it finishes at the bridge. These sections tend to be especially quiet bar the odd dog walker or mountain biker.
All the caches are situated a short distance from the main track which, while generally in good repair, can get a little mucky in places after extended periods of rain.
100 Day Geostreak Cache
As mentioned above, the cache IS at the posted co-ordinates but can ONLY be logged as found if the rules listed below are followed!
Whether you have mostly cache and dash finds, are out hiking for miles or a combination of both, 100 day Geostreaks take some effort! Weather, distance, daylight, motivation, sickness, hours in a day, muggles, DNFs and the unexpected … all play into it and add to the difficulty.
Our longest geostreak currently stands at 115 days from 27/11/2012 to 21/03/2013.
This hide is to reward and challenge those that have reached a certain level of Geoaddiction and achieved their goal of finding at least one geocache a day for a minimum of 100 days!
You are looking for a small sized watertight screw top container containing a logbook, pencil and a few small swaps. I have given this cache a difficulty rating of 5 and a terrain rating of 5 as, along with the challenge of fulfilling the logging requirements, the final cache is not easy either. Well, it wouldn't be much of a challenge if it was now, would it?
You will probably have either directly or indirectly worked as part of a team to achieve your 100 day geostreak, be it going out with other geocachers or by having the support (or is that tolerance) of your wife / husband / girlfriend / boyfriend etc. while you've went out geocaching either alone or together. I guess what I'm saying is, while the final is not beyond the realms of a solo cacher (indeed I placed it by myself using four dog leads connected together), working as part of a team should make the find easier.
Rules to log this cache:
1. You must have had a streak of a Minimum of 100 consecutive days with a cache find.
2. This cache can count as your 100th consecutive find.
3. You are welcome to physically 'find' the cache and sign the log if you haven't yet met Rule #1. Please log this fact as a 'Write Note' on this listing. Once you have then met all the requirements, a 'Found It' log can be submitted.
4. Please demonstrate this logging requirement any way you see fit: text in the log (with date range of streak), create a Bookmark list, take a snapshot of Your Caching Chronology in your geocaching statistics page showing details of your longest streak and add it to this log etc.
5. Dates will be confirmed and logs not following the rules will unfortunately be deleted.
Please replace the cache EXACTLY as found after logging. Feel free to post a picture of yourself and the log or if you're with others, a picture of you retrieving the cache!
Fame and glory awaits the FTF.
