Akita Prefectural Museum of Agricultural Science was opened in May 1991. In this museum, you can learn of rural folk of Akita Prefecture, agriculture, forestry, cultivation techniques from a scientific viewpoint. And there is a lessons such as flower arrangement, use of herb, gardening here.
There are various types of exhibition room, greenhouse and video hall, etc. in the museum, and there are orchard, vegetable garden, rose garden, and charcoal hut, and Bent House (Magariya) etc. on site.

秋田県立農業科学館は，1991年5月に開館しました。ここでは，秋田県の農村の民族や農業，林業，栽培技術を科学的な視点から学ぶことができます。また，園芸・ハーブ・活け花などの各種教室も行われています。館内には各種展示室，温室，映像ホール等，また敷地内には果樹園，野菜園，バラ園，炭焼小屋, 曲がり家等があります。
