Geocache Description:

Cache information
Millpond Hill - Pluckley Plod #06
You are looking for a 35mm film pot.

Please ensure cache is well hidden and camouflaged afterwards.

Additional Information
This stretch of the walk by Chris-King will take you for a stroll around a section of one of Kent's most picturesque villages.
For more information on the series, please see PP01 - Haunted Hunt

Additionally Pluckley featured on an episode of Sunday Night Project where Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr with their guest host Will Young investigated a mill in Pluckley, and stayed in a tent overnight in the Screaming Woods.

Pluckley's claim to fame has most recently been through the successful television series The Darling Buds of May, the first series being screened in 1991, and it is this, rather than the reputation as, according to The Guinness Book of Records, the most haunted village in England that is cherished by most of the residents.

It is a lovely walk with some great views, but some of the paths can get muddy so good boots are recommended. There are also some great places to stop for refreshments, so you can plan your walk accordingly.

Full information of the footpaths in Pluckley can be found on the following link

Please ensure this cache is replaced in the correct spot, if you find the wet log book one, then you need to look for the newer one, but please don't log a Maintenance on it, as there are TWO caches here now and your maintenance will be deleted.

Hint also updated, if you find the original container, please take photo and email this privately to me so I can visit and collect it.

Additional waypoints are given to assist you with your walk where needed.

Directions are given for doing the series in number order:
From 'Millpond Hill' continue to walk along the lane until you reach an opening in the hedge row on your left (WP06) - the opening is just past some cottages on your right, turn left here and left again to use the footpath to keep to the field boundary, after a short while the path veers slightly left into another field (WP07) - keep on this into the orchard.

MankyBadger, Tia67uk and Chris-King hope you enjoy the series

Congratulations to the 'Fryd Family' for FTF on 29/09/2013.
