Once upon a time, we were at a cache that was in the bottom of a tree hollow. The large hole in the tree was nearly 2m high off the ground. Mr TiedyeSmileys jumped up and thrust his arm into the hole and felt around blindly for the cache. He couldn't feel anything but also couldn't reach in too deeply hanging from the tree. We then parked the Geo-mobile next to the tree and climbed up on it and were then able to look into the hole. Shining a torch down into the hole, a corner of the cache could be seen. The rest of it was covered by the large possum sitting on top of it! Mr TiedyeSmileys fingers must have been groping just above the possum.
Despite this near brush with a possible finger removing critter, Mr TiedyeSmileys hasn't learned his lesson and still blindly puts his fingers into places that he cannot see.
