Geocache Description:

Bolton Point is surrounded by the suburbs Fennell Bay, Woodrising and Marmong Point. It is on the Western shore of Lake Macquarie. Opposite Croudace Bay to the East and Toronto to the South. The forshore park area is a great walking, fishing, picnic and kids play area. FTF Award to Marcus Vitruvius. Can see why he's found over 10000.

This cache is a small cylinder with official geocaching label around it's side and geocaching logo on the lid. Contains log with place for FTF and a pencil. I have included 6 waypoints. 5 of these are various carparks along the bolton point lake front starting from closest to farthest. The last waypoint is a round concrete survey pillar with triangle seel plate on top.

This area has a sporting oval, community hall, boat ramp, 2 jettys and childrens play park. There are various picnic tables and bench seats throughout the park area. There are a number of holiday stays and bed and breakfasts around. The cache location is in a more secluded part of the shoreline.

From Wiki: Bolton Point is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia, and is located northeast of Toronto on a peninsula extending southwards into western Lake Macquarie.
