Long Neck Island is part of the Googong archipelago! There are many islands here! (Well, more than 2 anyway), and they are all worth a visit! I found a variety of animals here, but no rabbits!
I must say, it's not all that long really, so I don't know why they named it such, but at least it's land!
Important notes:
1. the Googong foreshores are only open from 8am to 6pm (8pm during daylight savings)!
2. Only non-petrol boats are allowed on this dam! The total distance to paddle is about 2km (return), so make sure you are up for that, and check that the weather is fine.
