Geocache Description:

This is a miserable excuse of an island! However, as part of the Googong archipelago, it cannot be ignored! But they got one thing right - it sure is low! Any lower and it would be gone!

Important notes:
1. the Googong foreshores are only open from 8am to 6pm (8pm during daylight savings)!
2. Only non-petrol boats are allowed on this dam! The total distance to paddle is about 2km (return), so make sure you are up for that, and check that the weather is fine.
