Geocache Description:

The Foret Noire road connects the east and west coast of Mahé and has many sightseeing points. One of them can easily be missed if not for the occasional queue of people and cars. Exploring the island we passed this place five times – and there were always cars stopping. Why? There is a source. Once we saw a woman with a truck and eight 50 litres bottles. Another time three cars were in line.

The water has a pleasant to strong mineral taste. A top of a plastic bottle seems to be permanently installed to make filling easier.

Update 2018-01-01: Thank you, Administrat0r for placing a new cache. The cache coordinates points to the coordinates he gave me. He writes “I placed a new Cache above the little waterfall. A Petling with an new logbook.” Coordinates and Spoiler pictures have been updated.

You can find the source at s 4 39.276 e 55 26.456.

If anyone has more information on the source (local name, mineral content...) I would be very interested in knowing).

A note on cache maintenance: aml will help with maintenance.
