This is a really cool park located just north of King County International Airport/Boeing Field (Airport code: KBFI). I have flown over this park hundreds of times during my flight training at Boeing Field, and come here often to watch airplanes. The cache is a camoed bison. I made this one pretty easy because this park can get busy! I would avoid this cache, and probably many others in this neighborhood, at night due to high homeless population.

Airplanes usually take off and land into the wind. If the wind is from the South, you can expect airplanes coming in to land right over your head! Smaller aircraft usually land on runway 13L (the smaller runway on the East side of the airport), while the larger aircraft land on runway 13R. The runway numbers corespond to the magnetic heading of the runway, and "L" and "R" represent "left" and "right" for airports with parallel runways. Runways 13L & 13R are pointed in a magnetic heading of about 130 degrees. The reciprocal heading of 130 degrees is 310 degrees, so when landing in the other direction (north), the runways are known as 31L & 31R.
