The little river that flows past near here is called the River Sence.
There is at least one other River Sence in Leicestershire, so take care when researching this.
Our River Sence flows west into the well-known and larger River S, near the villages of N and W. Its basin is surprisingly large and reaches as far north as the village of B near the A47.
The cache title refers of course to a novel by JA, which is largely about ED and her sister M. The older sister forms an attachment to EF.
Just count the letters.
You should have 10 smallish numbers; S, N, W, B, J, A, E, D, M and F.
(I know there are two Es - you can use either.)
The cache is at N52 3a.bcd W001 0e.fgh, where
a = S + W – B
b = S + J - M
c = J + A - N
d = E + D - F
e = D + F - M
f = A + E - N
g = N + A - D
h = B + E – W
