For weeks, people have been pouring into the small western town of Deadwood for the biggest poker tournament this side of the Mississippi. From outlaws to marshals and saloon girls to southern belles, everyone has made this small western frontier town THE place to be.
As the festivities of the poker tournament conclude, a celebration party is planned at
the Deadwood Saloon to award the prize money for the tournament and to celebrate what
is hoping to be a very financially successful venture for the saloon.
With a smattering of bandits, bankers, saloon girls, sheriffs, gamblers, east coast debutantes, and
of course a few of the locals, this is guaranteed to make for a very interesting evening indeed.
You would be a fool to miss this celebration!
You are invited to this themed event at the posted Coordinates starting at 630PM. If you wish you can bring a potluck item so we can enjoy some snacks during this mysterious evening.
If you have ever attended a Murder Mystery event you will already be aware of some of the guidelines but if not please be aware of some expectations the hosts require. This is an event where the characters are played by you and your fellow attendees and once you enter the event you assume the character provided by the host in advance. We ask that you come in dress of your character(be creative), assume the alter ego and have fun. We require anyone attending the event to please notify us in your Will Attend, the number of your party, M/F, and your potluck item. We also require your attendance notification by Sunday Oct 6, 2013 as we need some time to assign the characters and send you your specific character packages leaving you some time to prepare for your role. We also ask that once the character profiles have been assigned and sent out that you keep that detail to yourself and do not share it with the other attendees as each package contains their own clues and hints for a successful game.
The Murder at the Deadwood Saloon Mystery we are hosting can accommodate up to 80 characters so get your confirmation in ASAP. Please be aware as well that once Oct 6 has come we expect you will be at the event if you have signed up, each character has a specific role in the final outcome of the murder.
Plenty of parking is available onsite. Muggles are welcome and encouraged to attend. Any out of town attendees that are attending this will finish between 10pm and Midnight so if you may want to consider staying overnight. Let us know and we'll see what we can do to help.
This is an adult themed party but if you have children that wish to attend message me and we'll confirm the possiblity.
There will be a $5 charge for all attendees to help cover the cost of the event facility and accessories that is payable upon arrival. Beverages will be able to be purchased onsite so no beverages can be brought to the event. With the success of our previous Murder Mystery Event we required a larger facility to accommodate everyone comfortably
