Cãlugãreni
Cãlugãreni (Hungarian: Mikháza) is a village in Eremitu commune, Mureş County.
It is situated 30 kilometers north east to Târgu Mureş, 20 kilometers to Sovata, on the left side of the road 153A and the river Niraj. The name of the village in 1309 used to be Michasa, in 1567 Mikhaza. In 1910 it had 664, in 1992 it had 581 and in 2002 it had 612 inhabitants.
Places to see:
- Its Franciscan church was built in 1692, it was rebuilt in 1912.
- The builing of the monastery ended in 1678, under the leadership of Kájoni János. Its library consisted of more than 4000 books, it was the ancestor of the catholic school of Târgu Mureş that moved there only in 1785.
- On the border of the village there was a roman fortress.
- The Summer Theater named "Csûrszínház".
