Today I was invited to go paddling down Drakes Creek with some muggle friends. The water was very low and it sprinkled rain several times, but we had so much fun, laughing all the way. We paddled from here to Romanza Johnson Park, which is about 7 miles. I was told the gate to this launch area is never closed. The last bit of paddling to the park is upstream on Trammel Creek. The launch site is pretty steep, and even when the water is up, it would not be a good place to put in a bigger or motorized boat.
