[GC Park]: #6 Red Trail Traditional Cache

Red Trail je težji power trail na območju GC Parka Ljubljana. Sestavlja ga 15 geocachejev, ki imajo višje stopnje težavnosti, nekateri so postavljeni na terenu s težavnim dostopom, večinoma pa so kombinacija obojega.

Izhodišče Red Trail-a je pri gradu Jablje v Loki pri Mengšu in v večjem delu sledi pohodniški poti na vrh Staneta Kosca na Rašici. Geocacheji so mestoma postavljeni tudi izven označene poti.

Geocache #6 je postavljen cca. 50m od kraške ponikalnice, ki priteče na plan na mestu z imenom "Ručigajev izvir". Voda izvira iz 93m dolgega in 2m globokega kraškega rova, ki je stalno zalit z vodo.

Nekaj sto metrov nizvodno, ponikalnica tvori nizko barje imenovano "Planik", ki je rastišče redke rastlinske vrste - orhideje Loeselove grezovke. V okolici mokrišča so ekstenzivni mokrotni travniki in gozd. Dolina Planik je tudi življenjski prostor ogroženih metuljev, hroščev, netopirjev ter mesojedih rastlin okroglolistne in dolgolistne rosike.

- Za vpis v dnevnik potrebujete svoje pisalo. Če pisala nimate, zadostuje tudi foto-log, nikakor pa kot dokaz vašega obiska v cache ne odlagajte raznih kamenčkov, vejic, listkov, ipd.!
- Cacheji Red Traila niso namenjeni menjavi predmetov.
- Pred iskanjem preverite označeno težavnost cacheja in oceno težavnosti terena, objavljene atribute in morebitne druge opisane posebnosti.
- Iskanje prilagodite svojim izkušnjam, znanju in sposobnostim.
- Težkih cachejev se lotevajte zbrano in previdno ter upoštevajte vse potrebne varnostne ukrepe!

Red Trail is the hardest power trail within GC Park Ljubljana. The trail is made of 15 geocaches with higher level of difficulty, some of them are placed on hard terrain, but most of them are combination of both.

Red Trail starts near castle Jablje in settlement "Loka pri Mengšu" and in most of the time follows the hiking trail towards the peak "Staneta Kosca" on Rašica. Some of the geocaches are placed off the mentioned trail.

Geocache #6 is placed approx. 50m away from water spring named "Ručigajev izvir". Water starts flowing inside the 93m long underwater passage, fully submerged in water.

Along the stream is a valley named "Planik" where the water gathers in a wetland, a lowland bog, which is the habitat of the fen orchid, a species of Community importance. Extensive wet meadows and a forest can be found near the wetland. The Planik valley is also home to endangered butterfly, beetle and bat species, as well as to the carnivorous round-leaved sundew and great sundew plants.

- Cache does not contain a pen so bring your own one. If you don't have a pen, you can also do a photo-log, but do not leave any objects in the cache as a proof of your visit!
