Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT by the school or on the fence.  Crossing the ditch can be a little tricky and after a heavy rain can be difficult if not impossible so be careful.

The school that you see now was built in the 1930's.  I'm not sure when the original building was built.  An old Christmas program from 1897 shows that there were 33 students at that time.  In 1945 the Spring Branch consolidated with Cedar Vale.  The building was used by the Cedar Vale 4-H Go-Getters sometime in the 60's and early 70's.  The school now has long been abandoned and the roof is going fast.

The school is on private property so please don't cross the fence.

The cache is a pencil shape container.
