Welcome to Boogie Hill
You better come early if you plan to get a good seat, and don't forget your concert tickets. You are about to take a trip back into time and see some of the biggest acts to perform in the Tiffin area.
Boogie Hill was the sight of several large outdoor concerts. The first was September 23, 1973. Over 20,000 people attended. Acts that performed that day included Quick Silver, Canned Heat, Brownsville Station, REO Speedwagon, Catfish Hodge, Ethos, and Foundation II.

The second concert at Boogie Hill was held on June 20, 1976. This time, an estimated 60,000 people attended the concert. Billed as Heavy Metal Sunday, the program opened with Foghat, followed by Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band, and was headlined by Ted Nugent.

Here is another concert poster that I came across.

While Boogie Hill attracted big acts and drew massive crowds, it was also plagued with problems. Everyone I had interviewed for this cache told me that parking was a nightmare. Furthermore, some of the landowners close to Boogie Hill were not as receptive to having the concert venue so close to home. During the 1976 concert, 21 people were injured - including one who was shot. In the end, over 60 witnesses sought an injunction to ban all future concerts at Boogie Hill.
Enough music history, now about the cache...
Because Boogie Hill is located on private property that is not accessible for caching, I have offset the cache to the Miller Conservation Farm located just across the street from Boogie Hill. To find the cache, you need to SUBTRACT 187 from N 41º 11.183, ADD 6 to W 083º 03.586. Bring your own writing utensil.
