Fall Picnic weekend kicks off with a Friday evening Meet and Greet. Enjoy a laid back evening at South Shelter House with caching friends from across the state and region.
REGISTRATION: "Will Attend" logs on the cache page are encouraged but DOES NOT register you for the day's events. Please include everyone on the REGISTRATION form regardless of age. This information is used during planning and most importantly to create registration packets, including lanyard nametags. Registrations submitted by August 12, 2014 are guaranteed a lanyard name tag and registration packet. After this date, these items are not available; however name tag labels will be available for late registrants.
APPETIZER PITCH-IN: The event is a PITCH-IN featuring appetizers. Everyone is asked to bring homemade appetizers to share. If you are planning to eat, please bring a finger food, appetizer or dessert to share. Please Note: Electricity is very limited and may not be available. Suggestion: Set up a reminder or calendar entry showing what you are bringing
NIGHT CACHE: The Night Cache will begin at 8:30pm. So put on your trekking shoes and bring along a flashlight to join in on the fun.
LODGING: Local hotels are available in Scottsburg, Seymour or Sellersburg . Hardy Lake has both primitive and electric campgrounds. Camping reservations can be made at ReserveAmerica. If you are camping, post your site number on the Fall Picnic Facebook page.
