Palm Beach County is home to a vast number of parks and recreation areas. There is a small section of Lake Okeechobee located in Pahokee that is designated as a community park. It is north of the pier. If you travel to the northernmost part of this section you will find one of the best locations for sunset viewing.
The park is open sunrise to sunset.
You do not have to step onto the rock face of the Lake.
Look out for scorpions.
