Off the beaten path Traditional Cache

These newest caches of ours are at the Marcy Town Park - on Toby Road. Please see below for the parking coordinates. There are many things to do here, including many things for kids and families. There are grills, picnic tables, pavilion, a playground, large sandbox, tennis courts, basketball, softball & baseball fields to watch games and hiking/fitness trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing.
Cache seekers/finders assume all risks involved in seeking a cache. Please hide it as good or better in same area as where you find it.
There are 3 entrances to the trails; two are closed at the present time for maintenance from recent storms.Because of this, we entered through the "world trail” marked entrance. - the one near the playground and closest to the main road. Parts of the trail, depending on which way you go are still in great shape but about halfway through there are many twigs and branches in the paths, some paths can be hard to find, and some are muddy. The cache is a bit off the path; our gps gets us pretty close, although it’s hard with the trees and the signal bouncing.

MARCY TOWN PARK/PAVILION CLOSES AT DARK DAILY
PLEASE KEEP VEHICLES OFF THE GRASS- All groups and visitors to the parks are asked not to park vehicles on the grass. There are ample parking areas throughout the park facility close to any activity sites.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN THE MARCY PARKS- Pavilion rentals must be arranged with the Town of Marcy Director of Parks, Recreation & Culture
