The Parrish Church at Chipping Hill had become overcrowded and a chapel of ease was built on land which became Guithavon Street donated by Mr W H Parison the church was constructed on 1st November 1842.
By 1969 the church was closed but reopened in 1989 as the Holy Family and All Saints RC Church after major refurbishment by the Roman Catholic community. The interior of the church has changed significantly from its original state.
