Geocache Description:


Event : Poker run Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm Date: Sunday Sept. 29 2013 This poker run is just for fun and is not to replace Ingersoll's annual poker run. All cards must be handed in by 3:30pm. This event will start and end at the downtown Ingersoll pavilion. Prizes will be awarded at 4:00 pm. You will require transportation (wheels of any kind) & a GPS or SmartPhone (with a geocaching app. installed) for each individual or group It is not necessary to be a registered Geocacher to participate. Locations for the Poker Run are for the day only and I will provide coordinates when you arrive. Many caches nearby - make a day of it! Washrooms available. Please sign up by Sept. 27. Please post a "will attend" log. This poker run will be a tad different. Participants will recieve a single set of co-ordinates to start and will make thier way along a set of 15-20 caches. The twist though - Cachers will have the option at certain caches to proceed to a "Detour" area.... Where they have the possibility to earn extra cards for completing tasks. Cachers will get to choose from two possible detours - One will be harder than the other FOR EXAMPLE - (balancing an egg in a spoon OR completing a childs puzzle). Detours will not be mandatory - But they add the opportunity to win extra cards for your poker hand!
