Geocache Description:

This is our second geocache we have hidden after having fun with our first cache "Gone Fishing" (GC4KWKK).  Being an Arizona native, I have lots of memories growing up here.  One memory is not something that I can share with my kids now that it is gone.  As a kid, my parents would have a western day and take us horse back riding basically in the middle of the city.

There was a cute riding stable inside what use to be called Pointe at South Mountain. Now called the Arizona Grand Resort, the horses have been long gone. Our ride would take us into South Mountain for an enjoyable ride and view of the city.  Small enough to hold a few small items but not long enough to hold a pen.  Please bring your writing instrument for this one.  This is hidden where the SHERIFF used to be.  Some common sense is required here as this is the Arizona desert and we do have Black Widows, Scorpions and Rattlesnakes.  A little caution should be used during the hotter summer months only.  Please pay attention to the exact placement of this cache if you find it.  Make sure you place it back exactly where you find it.  Please don't get scared or lazy and make up an easier location on this.  Part of the fun of this cache is where its hiding.  For the FIRST person to find this, we have left you a crisp $5.00 bill to cover your time and gas.  Enjoy!
