Myself and Westie Walker (he of diminishing hair) are pleased to host a bash at the Fox and Hounds Pub (we last did this in 2007!) . This is easy to access from the M3 and surrounding areas and serves a wide selection of homemade foods although we aren't organising the food - just order if you need something when you arrive.It's also Westie Walker's 50th birthday so come along and remind him how old he is :)
The Fox and Hounds is located immediately beside the Basingstoke Canal so you can arrive by canoe or narrow boat or just sit and watch the boats moving by if you wish (weather permitting).
As well as numerous douglasf and Westie Walker caches in the area we will be setting a few new ones just for the night.
Anyway we hope to see some of you there. If there is interest we will be available to help cachers solve some of the local caches during late afternoon and before the kick-off which is 7:30PM. Myself and Westie Walker rarely leave the pub until the lights are turned out so stay as long as you like.
Please leave a 'Will Attend' note on the cache page so we can get some idea of the numbers expectedand let the pub know. We are not organising food but if you need it let us know so we can give the pub staff some idea of the culinary needs.
