There are many natural springs around Bow and we have our own Waterworks. It is one of the few independant water supplies in the country and supplies, with one pipe, 50% of the original village.
As you walk down the footpath to this cache you will notice that natural springs are evident as they enable rare stands of tussocks to exist along the path. To your left, as you near the bridge, are some reaching heights of over 5ft. These are on the very edge of the SSSI Nymet Barton Marsh Nature Reserve. They are only a glimpse of what can be expected if you were to visit the reserve (permission if to have a look can be gained from the farmhouse Nymet Barton).
But for now you are heading over the bridge to find this cache. You are looking for a micro on a hook and you may need tweezers to get the log!.
