Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a loop of caches which incorporates both the village of Bow, and the surrounding countryside footpaths and lanes.

The walk across the fields footpaths are not suitable for pushchairs.

Please be aware of traffic on the lanes.

You have now crossed the lane and mounted the steps up to the third section of the walk around Bow.  The scenery up here is beautiful but it can be a bit bracing in the wind!

The views now across the valley are extensive, hopefully lots of blue sky for you! Across the valley Reeve Castle, this unique property was built by William Carter Pedler in 1900 for his bride. He was also one of the congregation who was involved in getting Bow Congregational Church built, which you can also see.

The footpath can get muddy in places but is passable, and please keep dogs on leads in the fields with livestock.
