Geocache Description:

Pubble is a small forest and a hidden gem unknown by most and rarely visited.

This cache will take you into the heart of actual Pubble forest and is located just off the B80 between Enniskillen and Tempo.

Pubble is a the collective name for a number of forest blocks in the Tempo area. The individual blocks are known as Pubble (beside the area workshop), Glen, Derryraghan and Coolbuck.

The track starts off on typical forest track terrain and it is less than a mile before you reach the end of the hardcore trail, but your walk can then continue over beautiful narrow pine needle covered trails and it is very picturesque during a sunny evening as the sun sets. On your way through the trail, you are awarded good views of Topped Mountain as well as the surrounding counties.

The walk around will take you past a section of the forest that is dedicated to Silver Birch and is very attractive particularly in the Autumn.

The tracks although steep in places are suitable for children and we have had a pushchair up there without any real difficulty. It is suitable for those of moderate fitness.

The cache is hidden close to some historic stone walls but is not within them - please do not disturb the walls.

Parking is available as per the waypoint - there is room for two cars - one at the gate and one in an adjacent gap but choose the latter just in case access is required although unlikely.
