UNFORTUNATELY WE CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS CACHE. APPARENTLY ANGRY DOGS AND UGLY NEIGHBOR ARE MAKING THIS A DANGEROUS JOURNEY. OUR SINCEREST APOLOGIES. PERHAPS WE WILL BE ABLE TO REDIRECT ACCESS ALONG THE BEACH AT A FUTURE TIME. UNTIL THEN, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE.
At the trailhead there are a couple "no trespassing" signs. It's the trail everyone uses to get to this beach, and we have never encountered any problems.
If it's been raining lately wear good shoes as the hike can be slippery. It is mostly shaded, and a comfortable 10 -15 minute walk. There's a good chance you will see monkeys on the way, so keep your eyes peeled. The cache will lead you to a gorgeous hilltop ocean view.
The cache is a small peanut butter container with red lid. I wood give you a hint, but I'm quite stumped
After you find the cache, if you continue on the trail you will find a set of steep cement stairs that lead you to the beach. At low tide there are tons of tide pools with lots of little creatures to watch. There's a good chance you will have the beach to yourself.
