American Goldfinch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

FeatheredFriends: Time for these to end. Had a good long run. With the numerous mountain bike trails here most of these seem to go missing. Seems like a flood was here and put the area under water. Looks like cache floated away.

Geocache Description:

This cache is named for the American Goldfinch. This handsome little finch, the state bird of New Jersey, Iowa, and Washington, is welcome and common at feeders, where it takes primarily sunflower and nyjer. Spring males are brilliant yellow and shiny black with a bit of white. Females and all winter birds are more dull but identifiable by their conical bill; pointed, notched tail; wingbars; and lack of streaking.

This cache is one of a series in Finch Park. All of the caches are placed no more than 30' away from trails or the edge of fields. You are looking for a pill bottle.
