Geocache Description:

After working my way through Buckeye Bugs, I thought birds go well with bees.  So enjoy a geocaching drive down Buckeye road.  I take no responsibility if the birds bomb your car.  For all the caches in this series, there is no need to trespass, climb fences, or go on private property to access the cache. Please use stealth and be respectful of the areas you are visiting. Happy Hunting.

Northern Cardinal‛s are “State Birds” in seven (7) states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.j The guy cardinals are bright red and the gals are almost a light brown. But, they both have a “cool” crest on the top of their heads and a black mask on their face. Juvenile (young) cardinals have a black bill and it changes to orange, then to red, as they become adults.  Their beak is very strong and powerful, and great for sunower seeds, fruits, berries and insects. They are Omnivores.  The male cardinals like to fight other birds for territory and sometime tries to attack their own reection in windows and car mirrors.  Cardinals hop rather than walk on the ground. They make a great baseball team. http://www.fgcu.edu/CAS/Gallery_Images/Bird_Cool_Facts_Final.PDF ***** Congratulations to RBCT109 on the FTF !!!!*****
