Geocache Description:

Around the time when Skyhooks released their debut album 'Living in the 70s' plans were afoot to build a medium density housing estate near Woden, well technically in Phillip.  The estate is known as Swinger Hill, and although you wouldn't know it some of the houses here (in Barnett Close) have been heritage listed as examples of significant 20th Century architecture.

Swinger Hill, stop snickering, was actually named after Louise Walter Henry Swinger, the surveyer who worked in the area and surveyed the Trig Point. It is a friendly community with an active neighbourhood watch program and shopping centre, but until now no caches!

The cache is a small systema with room for small swaps and is being placed as a tribute to local friends.
