Event: We will be cleaning along the northern part of Eglin Reservation starting at 8 am-in September we cleaned the first section of this road gathering 1000 lbs of trash, we will clean up the next 3 miles during this event. We will provide the trash bags; you will need to bring work gloves, comfortable shoes (no opened toed shoes), sunscreen, bug spray and a picking stick if you have one. We will provide iced cold water.
We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Please log a note saying "Will Attend" so we can have a good head count for the event.
Note: If there is severe weather issues on the day of the event, we will cancel the event and reschedule the event. Please do not show up if there is severe weather. We will monitor the weather the day of the event and will make an announcement on the this cache page, should the event be cancelled.
While we will be on the northern edge of Eglin AFB, no pass will be required as long as you stay on the road which is public access. If you plan on geocaching after the event a pass from Jackson Guard will be needed.
