I've set three caches today in a chain, using the footpaths that connect the roads from Woosehill roundabout right up to Matthewsgreen Road. They can be done individually, and/or by car, but it's quicker and easier to do them as a little sequence, using the footpaths! They are: 'Locomotive levitation', 'Mailing George', and 'Not for long'.
Locomotive Levitation is on a path that starts at Mill Mead. Some parking is usually available outside homes on Mill Close. These roads are named after the watermill (Emmbrook Mill) that was here, which was used for milling flour.
Terrain is a 1 because the path is tarmac and the cache is at waist height, so accessible to wheelchair users. The difficulty level is quite high because the GPS may not behave very well, due to the structure you will find and the overhanging tree cover. But the hint is a set of visual instructions to make it easy if GPS is playing up, or you want a quick find. No need to fear any locomotives as they are all levitated - this line is used so frequently, you are almost guaranteed to have a train go by while you're searching!
Please be sure it's secure when you replace it, as vibrations may cause it to come loose. :)
FTF – Congrats Taeppa! A trio of FTFs in 20 minutes has to be a record!!
