View of Braefordie Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a lovely walk through the hills on the north of Strathearn on the southern flanks of Carn Chois along the Highland Boundary fault.
The cache trail is along the walk from Loch Turret to Comrie.
The walk is on a decent landrover track and with a short section over rugged moorland. It is described as a walk but it is also a brilliant mountainbike trail .
The terrain rating for these caches has been set for the difficulty of attempting the whole walk on relitively easy tracks but remote. Please equip yourself accordingly.
The farm buildings below you are Braefordie, now abandoned. The land here is still used for grazing sheep.
Looking to the South over Strathearn, Torlum Hill and Lurgan Hill can be seen in the middle distance, with the Ochils in the far distance......assuming you can see a view
*****Congratulations to Cookster, Lee & Lynn (the non cacher) on a joint FTF *****
