The cache is quite big and obvious. The container with the log is rather small with only room for the log and a pencil.
Cache is easy to find, but safety first: use the viewpoint parking area along the highway! Enjoy the view of the lake but don't go too far to the edge (steep dropoff to the railroad and the lake). This cache is a hotel for solitary bees - no honeybees or wasps so no worries to get stung! We hope some solitary bees might make this hotel their home. If you see some, let us know! You can see the holes filling up and getting sealed off by the bees. Look at the attached link and learn more. And if you can, build your own!
