Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small sized cache that celebrates the many geocaching events of the WGA. You'll need to bring your own pen.

The WGA (Wisconsin Geocaching Association) is a group of fun-loving, outdoor-minded people who like to geocache and want to help others do the same. One of the primary purposes of the WGA is to host statewide geocaching events that draw hundreds of geocachers from all over Wisconsin. Benefits of the events include meeting other geocachers, communication, education, geocaching and having fun!

There are six main statewide events that the WGA hosts annually each year. Consider attending (or volunteering for) some or all of the events! They are:

• A fall campout (September)
• A spring picnic (May)
• A winter bonfire/chili feed get together (February or March)
• A summer pancake breakfast at the West Bend mega event
• A winter Lonely Cache Game (LCG) event
• WGA Cache In Trash Out (CITO) events

It’s easy to join the Wisconsin Geocaching Association, and membership is free. Just register on their website at http://www.wi-geocaching.com. The WGA website is one of the best resources for geocachers in Wisconsin. It is a great place to find and share information on any aspect of geocaching. Come share, download resources, ask questions, or just socialize in their online forums!

For us personally, we have greatly benefited from joining and participating in the WGA. It has expanded our awareness of so many more aspects of the sport of geocaching and has connected us to so many fun people!
