This cache has been archived.

Team Gruffalo: Time to archive this series.
Huge thanks to all the finders and some fab logs on a cracking walk. The caches will remain in place for a further seven days.

Some info:

There's been a combined total of 180 DNF's.
This series has received a combined total of 491 fav points with #6 being the clear favourite with 212 points in it's own right.

I'm sad to see this go but it's had it's time now, bonus is it will be replaced with a new series in the not to distant future and if all goes well, it'll be a little bit bigger.

Again, Many thanks to all the finders and your logs :)

Geocache Description:

Hi all, please be aware that I'm archiving this series in December, weather permitting I'll be collecting the caches on Sunday 10th from 10:30 am

Please read the full description below as it's there to aid/help you..

A nice stroll through woodlands, Country paths and lanes consisting of 21 caches set out in a figure of 8. You can just do half or all and total distance is around 5 miles through and around Ripley and Sopley

I have 2 requests if you are planning on doing this walk. One: Replace the caches how you find them. Two, I don't mind just TFTC logs but I WOULD like to see a proper log left at #1 or #21 (I suspect #6 would have a few comments tho)

There is no bonus so you can do the walk how you wish.

Parking: 2 or 3 spaces at #1, Lots of spaces at #15 (please do NOT use between 08:15 & 09:15 and 2:40 & 4pm as near a school so parents park here and sit in this location) 2 or 3 spaces at #18.

Not suitable for wheelchairs, small buggies are ok as there are some kissing gates and sty’s. Some areas will become muddy after rain.

Please ENSURE you replace the cache as you find it!!!

You will need a pen and tweezers for a cache or two on this series

This series contains various sizes from nano's up to a 5 litre tub.

There are 2 sections where there is a fair walk, These are privately owned with public right of way hence no caches on these sections. If you have Geomuts check there is no livestock, if there is PLEASE put them on a lead as it is a criminal offense to worry.

From #16 continue down the road and turn left BACK down the path so you are heading back to #4 to reach #17 (assuming you are doing it in order)

#18 is held on by magnets, Please note the orientation of the magnets on the lid.

Cache #20 and beyond. The padlocked gate. It's NOT locked, the catch to open it is on the fence side of the gate, As to the Biohazzard signs, it is a pile of tosh, there are no signs if you do the series backwards (21 to 20) please read the logs @ #20 by other Cachers to confirm

Congrats to Marmotz for FTF
