Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a place that has a link to Abraham Lincoln.

150 years ago this location was part of Hartman Richter’s farm (Richter Farm Road is a few hundred feet away)
Hartman Richter had a cousin named George Andreas Atzerodt
Atzerodt was a conspirator with John Wilkes Booth to assassinate Abraham Lincoln
Atzerodt didn’t go through with it and instead fled to Richter’s farm
Atzerodt was captured on the farm
He was then tried, convicted, and executed

And that is how this cache location is connected to Abraham Lincoln! Inside the container you will find a photo of Atzerodt.

Original cache contents include a super ball, toy car, whistle, and a geocaching pin. Congrats to "WJ family" for FTF in just over an hour.
