The idea of this very small series is to place a cache as close to the most northerly, southerly, easterly and westerly points of Monmouthshire as possible (within the constraints of public land, access and place-to-hide-the-container etc.), hence the name Monmouthshire Compass (although constraints may mean they are just outside the border), with a bonus cache somewhere close to where the north/south line and east/west line transect (not bang on, that would be too easy).
And it's as simple as that! (Well, apart from the fact that you need to visit north, south, east and west, in any order, to get the numbers for the co-ords for the bonus, but, hey, it shouldn't be too hard!)
The other caches in the series are:
Monmouthshire Compass North
Monmouthshire Compass South
Monmouthshire Compass West
Monmouthshire Compass Bonus
Enjoy!!!
This cache is at a fantastic rocky site and is a small/regular camoflaged tub with room for a few swapables and the tracks to the site are good but the last few metres to the cache are a bit rocky and slippery. (Shhhh........... Don't tell anyone but this one is actually just over the border!!
