Take a caching hike into one of the most beautiful lakes and area in the Adirondacks.This is the first cache in a series of caches to help you enjoy your hike.I come here at least 2 to 3 times a year to hike and fish this area and lake.I have been coming here for over 40 years and have seen many changes in this environment and the lake.
The cache is a small camo painted pill bottle.Parking for this cache and the series of caches in this area is at N43 45.607 W073 41.349 which is at the end of the Pharoah Lake Rd.The road continues to the old parking area and trail head about 1 mile further.However,unless you have a very high clearence and all wheel drive vehicle I would not recommend driving past this first parking area.
