Geocache Description:

If you have ever heard the phrase "Having a ball in Darwin" then you have probably spent some time in Darwin during Twine Ball Day, which is the celebration to "The world's largest ball of twine ~ created by one man, Francis Johnson" and the little town of Darwin, MN. This cache is a tribute to all of that. You will love the creative container that holds the log, please leave it in place as it is not part of the swag.

The cover fits very tight, be sure it is inplace before you leave the cache. This is a great cache for kids as it holds all kinds of fun swag! You are looking for an EXTRA large container, the cover fits very tight and maybe hard to get off.  Please be sure and replace the lid completely as we want to keep the swag and cache contents in great shape. Return the cache as found and cover as needed. The area the cache is in is located in the Darwin Recreational Park, which also contain several other caches. The cache is located down the hill off of the west trail in the park which heads north through the woods. The terrain in the area of the cache is steep, watch for fallen logs. You may also have to watch for horse apples on the trail. This cache may or may not be winter friendly depending on the amount of snow we get in the area.

My GPS is known to read differently then others, but I know it will get you in the correct area and this cache is definately easy to see. Happy Hunting!
