Geocache Description:

Cathkin Marsh is a 10,000 year old loch, managed by Scottish Wildlife Trust. It is situated midway between Glasgow and East Kilbride.

This Wildlife Reserve is a haven for a wide variety of plant and animal life. From visiting wildfowl such as teal, mallard and mute swans to mammals like stoats, weasels and deer.
