This is a family-friendly letterbox hybrid located on the public trails that formerly led to The Secret Show cache. As I was archiving that cache, I saw some fluffy fluffy bunnies bouncing in the wood and thought I should repurpose the old container for this new cache.
Sweet Little Granny must have dropped her fluffy fluffy bunnies off at the trail head and sent them on their merry way to their new home in this cache.
I can almost hear her singing their favorite song now...
Fluffy fluffy bunnies bouncing in the wood,
Fluffy fluffy bunnies bouncing as they should,
They bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce
And sometimes they might flounce.
Sweet Little Granny gave her fluffy fluffy bunnies directions on how to get to their new home. Maybe you can follow the directions to their home and get a smiley along the way. In case you didn't know, a hop is about the same as a single walking step for a normal adult.
Sweet Little Granny's Directions:
- Use your GPS to navigate to the posted coordinates.
- From the posted coordinates, follow the trail for a long ways, past all the houses, until you come to a fork.
- At the fork, follow the trail to the left until you come to a trail coming in from the right that forms a "T".
- NOTE: The path from the left fork will go a short way (about 20 hops) through the woods before it opens into a clearing. Following the trail through the clearing (about 40 more hops) and back into the woods a short distance (about 20 hops) until you come to the "T".
- At the "T", take the path to the right until you come to a 4-way intersection.
- NOTE: You will follow this trail for a long way (about 200 hops). Along the way, you will pass several pine trees and a clearing to your right. Keep going until you see the 4-way intersection.
- At the 4-way intersection, take the trail to the left and follow it for about 125 hops until you come to a fork.
- At the fork, take the trail to the right for about 20 hops until you can just see the log over the end of the trail and the Posted sign. If you are in the right spot, you should be standing close to a tall straight tree that is about 6" diameter. You might even see a fluffy bunny marker about 5' off the ground.
- Now is the time to head off trail immediately to your right. Head about 45 hops toward a large maple tree. Along the way, you will see some even larger oaks off to your right, so you know you are headed in the right direction.
- At the maple tree, head 10 hops to your left to where you see a large stump and a downed tree. The cache (and the fluffy bunnies) are snuggled safely between the stump and the downed tree.
The cache is the repurposed container from The Secret Show, but the spy gear has been removed from the cache and been replaced with a new log book, custom fluffy bunny stamp and ink pad, and some fluffy bunny trade items. There is a fluffy bunny lammy for First To Find.
