Asphalt Oasis Traditional Cache

When you work in and around large buildings, any small wooded area can appear as an oasis.  In my many walks around this work complex of many buildings, there isn’t very many small wooded areas left.

This one is extremely small and out at the edge of a large asphalt parking lot that is hardly used other than for some to drive to just to get away from their work for a short break.  The corner also faces Interstate 4, so this oasis hopefully supplies some needed living quarters for small critters as their habitats are continually being encroached upon.  If we do nothing to trend toward zero population growth some day, there will be very few of these small oasis’s left near the asphalt and concrete jungles we create.There is no need to go into the middle of this oasis as the cache was placed along the very edge of the tree line.  Most of the time there are no vehicles out there at all, but on occasion I have seen a person kneeling toward Mecca (or maybe praying to the big concrete Interstate slab).  There is some trash in the area, so perhaps this cache will help make it a little cleaner by those cachers who like to leave things better than they found them.  The original cache contains several small items children may wish to trade for.
