We have placed this cache on a footpath which was the historic route of the Pontardulais to Swansea (Victoria) railway line. This route was 12.5 Miles long and was first opened for transport of goods in 1866 and for passengers in 1887.
Stations of interest along this line were Mumbles Road, Killay, Dunvant, Gowerton and Grovesend.
This line was closed in 1965 and to date, Swansea City have converted most of this line into a cycle path and forms part of the Bike path Network and NCN4.
