Geocache Description:

***CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES***

Lake Elmo Park Reserve is 2,165 acres (3.5 square miles) with 80% of its acreage set aside for preservation and protection. This park reserve offers gently rolling hills with a variety of landscape types, including forest and prairie. Be sure to look for pheasants, weasels, red fox, woodpeckers, cardinals, cottontail rabbits, squirrels, and white-tailed deer and (of course) lots and lots of Geocaches! I love it here so much that I decided to create this challenge for those that are as dedicated as I am about keeping it "clean" of unfound caches.

Before you can log a "found it" on this cache you must first find a few other caches. Which other caches? Every single ACTIVE cache in the park! (For the sake of clarification: If a cache is disabled for any reason you do not need to find it to qualify for this challenge as long as you find every other active cache in the park.)

At the time I placed this cache there were over 70 caches in the park. Since all previous finds count, some people will have a head start on others. In fact there are probably a few people like me who are already qualified.

This challenge is for the following cache types within the park boundries: Traditional, Mystery (including Challenge caches), Multi, Earth, Virtual (should one somehow pop up), Whereigo, or Letterbox Hybrid. Any event caches (including CITO, Mega and Giga) do NOT count for or against this challenge. Should a traveling cache pop up within the park boundaries it will NOT count for or against this challenge.

If you qualify for this challenge please feel free to log a note to this cache page to proclaim your greatness. Then PROVE your greatness by either attaching a list (bookmark or otherwise) of all the caches you have found or by uploading a screenshot of the park showing all those beautiful smiley faces. Then you are free to find and log this cache at your leisure EVEN IF MORE CACHES ARE HIDDEN IN THE PARK IN THE MEANTIME!

If you do not qualify then you'd better get caching! Once you do, please follow the above rules for logging the find. If you are in the park caching you are free to stop by and sign the log before you qualify for the find. Just log a note to the cache page saying you have done so.

If you are among the many people that own a cache in this park then you do not need to log a "find" on a cache that you already own. That should be obvious but I'm putting it out there just to avoid any possible confusion.

For the purposes of clarification, it is the POSTED coordinates that count for this challenge. So any multi, mystery or letterbox hybrid that has its posted coordinates within the park boundary MUST be found in order to qualify for the challenge regardless of the final location of the cache. Conversely if a multi, mystery or letterbox hybrid has its posted coordinates outside of the park boundaries but the final is within the park it does NOT need to be found to qualify for this challenge.

Here is a map of the park showing the boundaries. Please note the eastern shore of Lake Elmo is park property and thus part of the challenge.

Below is a sample of what my screenshot of the park looks like if I were attempting this challenge. Please note that there are a few caches in this photo that are not in the park.

Park hours are 7AM to 1/2 hour after sunset. The first (non holiday) Tuesday of every month is free entrance to all Washington County Parks.
