Smitswinkel Bay

To get to Smitswinkel bay it is just a 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach. The path is easy to follow is it winds down between the few houses on the slopes above the beach.

It’s a great spot for a beach picnic. You can boulder-hop a short way in the Cape Point direction at low tide and admire the sea cliffs and caves and get some caches along the way.

To get to the Cache you need to walk down the path on the left of the big rock then walk to the right hand side of the rock, so that you looking at Smitswinkel bay. This is where you need to start your search. (GPS reception is bad below the rock')

For some amazing Views of the bay walk out on the rock. (note there is a big drop so don't step to far. It is safe)
