Cache is located on a small section of the Rivanna Trail where it goes through Azalea Park connecting neighborhoods to the park. Azalea Park is home to a basketball court, baseball field, playground, dog park, and a community garden. So go ahead and bring your four legged friend with you to find this cache. Park is open dawn to dusk and parking is available.
When walking on the trail you will come to a place where there is a good sized tree on each side of the path. Head up the hill from this point a short distance (about 5 M) and begin your search. I don't think GPS will be to helpful here due to tree cover so you will have to look for something out of place at the described spot. It is not your normal hide. Please replace as found and be careful opening this cache as it is homemade and may be a little flimsy. Tweezers will probably be needed to retrieve the log.
