Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in a National Park, Fort Scaur

Fort Scaur is located at the western end of Bermuda in Somerset and on the highest hill top. You can reach the fort by bus #7 or 8 from Hamilton city. This fort was built in 1870s at the time when the relationship between British and the Americans were strained. The fort was built in such a way that it was barely visible from the sea.

I had the pleasure of meeting the President of Geocache Alaska  NorthWes and his Wife Mrs NorthWes.  He was very helpful in helping me plan a Geocaching cruise to Alaska.  He was our tour guide, our host at events and much much more.  This is a friendship that will be a lifetime and hope they will come back to Bermuda for a Visit and I will definately go back to Alaska........... IT IS A MUST ON YOUR BUCKET LIST FOR GEOCACHING.........
