Under the Ground Minerals ... Challenge Mystery Cache
retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

The cache is located in SE Yuba City, you can drive right to it. But, first, read the logging requirements below.
Recently I was caching in the mountains and noticed some old mining equipment. It reminded me of how many important minerals are mined in our country. Your task is to find 30 caches with certain minerals in their titles: 10 with gold, 10 with silver, 5 with iron, 2 with tin, 2 with coal, and 1 with copper. Only one cache from a series is allowed, and no locationless caches or compound words are acceptable. Be sure to include seven cache types (icons) in/on your qualifying list. And, I do hope you enjoy this challenge and are able to strike it rich...
